Ribbon cutting: Lake Worth Beach celebrates SmartyPlants

The City of Lake Worth Beach and the Lake Worth Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) are hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony for SmartyPlants Nursery + Cafe on Wednesday, September 9. The event marks fifteen years of the nursery in Lake Worth Beach, and everything that's changed since new ownership took over this summer: a cafe, a design-and-install team, and a much bigger plant selection.
The ribbon cutting starts at 3:30pm, followed by beverages, snacks, and tours of the garden led by the people who built it. The event is free and open to everyone.

What's new at SmartyPlants
New owners Ryan Boylston and Ed Mileto took over the nursery this year, adding Café Tico, a landscape design and installation team, and a far larger plant palette — while keeping the walkable, curated nursery experience Lake Worth Beach has known for fifteen years. The ribbon cutting is a chance for the community, the City, and the CRA to see what the nursery has become.
